Whats the difference between vector artwork and normal jpeg?

Vector artwork is made up of graphical renderings called vectors. They are made up of points and paths rather than tiny squares like JPEG and PNG files. The major difference is scalability.

What artwork sizes are available for screeen printing?

Our print sizes consist of a 3-way breakdown.

A6 (145mm wide) – This is for hat prints or left and right-hand breast.

A4 (300mm wide) – this is generally for small to large front and back prints

A3 (420mm wide) – This is generally for larger style prints on the back and front

Care instructions for printed garments?

Various print methods require specific treatment. However, a general rule of thumb is to cold machine or hand washing and make sure the garments are turned inside out. Under no circumstances should you use bleach. Do not tumble dry as it could cause shrinkage & potentially damage the print. Do not iron garments unless they are in reverse.

How many colours can we print?
Our shop can print a maximum of 6 colours. Anything above that we encourage digital print or sublimation.
What is Digital Print?
Digital printing is the composition of adhesive media being printed with graphics straight from the computer & being heat pressed at high temperatures.
What is sublimation?
Sublimation is very similar to digital printing. The images are printed straight from the computer to an external media, which in turn are heat pressed to a fabric. But instead of the design staying on the media, it is heat treated directly into the fabric and will never come out.
What do I need in order to get things sublimated?
To start sublimation all you need is the artwork in a high res format. Preferably vector as that will give the best results. If you don’t have the available artwork be sure to ask our graphics experts to help create what you are looking for.
What do I need in order to start an embroidery job?
To successfully start an embroidery job, we need what is called a digitised file. These are created in-house, by digitising the logos stitch path it tells the machine what stitches to place where. The charge is $45.
